Jeff Connors & JulieAnn Ream at April Show

Jeff Connors and JulieAnn Ream are longtime friends and contemporaries. They share many things in common.. both born into very famous families who made deep impacts in Western entertainment.

  • Jeff, the second of four sons born to Chuck Connors TV's famous 'Rifleman', is a musician & songwriter who has worked from L.A. to Nashville with many of the greats in Country music.
  • Julie is an author and producer, and also hails from very famous roots. Granddaughter of Taylor Curtis 'Cactus Mack' McPeters, one of the earliest western entertainers in both the San Fernando & Santa Clarita Valleys; she is also kin to Rex Mien the Arizona Cowboy, and famous 'bad guy' Glenn Strange, most famous for his role as 'Sam' the bartender on the long running series 'Gunsmoke'.

Siblings of show business families, and friends for years, their paths crossed long ago. In addition to being a famous western musician, Julie's grandfather, 'Cactus was also a famous character actor and 'sidekick' to Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and many others; and her uncle Glenn Strange worked as a cast member on the series The Rifleman. While continuing to pursue their own careers, you can often find the pair making personal appearances on behalf of their famous families.

Jeff, who often brings along his father's famous rifle, continues to perform and is currently working on his latest album 'Locked & Loaded', due out later this year.

Julie is making the book signing' rounds with 'Perfectly Amanda' From Dodge City and Beyond, the new BIO on Amanda Blake, for which she wrote the introduction, Weird Hollywood a book about the oddities of the city, and Rex's auto bio 'Rex Allen My Life... Sunrise to Sunset'. These books, along with Jeff's latest CD are available at their personal appearances.

They are working with various museums around the country . A display containing Chuck Connors' directors chair from the series is currently on display at the Autry National Center, and Julie has curated exhibits on her families' careers which are on display at 2 famous museums. A display on Cactus, Glenn and Rex is currently on display at the Museum of Film History in Lone Pine, CA. Another exhibit can also been seen on display in the Rex Allen Arizona Cowboy Museum in Willcox, AZ.
